How will I get my test results?

If you were tested at a Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) COVID-19 testing site, you should check your results on the CIAN lab portal.

Will I receive an email when my results are ready?

Unfortunately, CIAN labs do not notify you via email when your results are ready.

How long will it take for my results to be ready?

Turnaround times can vary, and the staff tries to inform patients of the anticipated turnaround time at the testing site. We will also try to update turnaround times on social media. Although ideally, results are available in 1-2 days, during the current COVID surge we can experience turnaround times of 4-5 days due to high testing volumes.

What if I have a hard time accessing my results in the CIAN portal?
